Hi, Just had a new ear piece flex cable on my iPhone SE. When I use speaker mode on a call the other person can’t hear me, on handset mode it’s fine. Also when I record a video and play it back it’s all fuzzy Is this a problem with the flex cable?
I assume you meant the front camera assembly, there are two things to check:
- Was the replacement front camera assembly for 5S or for SE? The microphone on these parts are internally different which will not work vice versa if mixed.
- Did you ensure the microphone is seated into the black rubber gasket which sits near the earpiece speaker? If the microphone was working before the front camera assembly replacement chances are the replacement part is faulty.
