So my Iphone had some water damage and would not boot so I took it to a repair store and he changed the battery and the charging ic , then after a few days I noticed that the battery was bulging so I took it to another repair store and he said he installed a new battery then after a while the phone started rebooting randomly so I can’t check my battery health and It won’t charge above 3%

I’ve seen this kind of issue before, and another user on this sight experienced a similar issue with their iPhone 7. I linked the question here if you want to give it a read. To sum it up, the issue might be that the solder joints underneath IC were possibly damaged at some point.
