I just dropped my iphone on the floor and the phone keeps restarting (apple logo ) with four purple vertical lines and touchscreen unresponsive too? Please guide me what to do? Should i replace the screen or is it more serious issue… I did follow a video opening it and detaching all three screen connectors but no luck.. Thanks
Hi Harry, The phone restarting is the one symptom that is less likely to be caused by screen damage, though it absolutely can be. I would attempt to replace the display and see if that corrects the issue. If you’re buying parts from iFixit, you can return the part if it doesn’t fix the issue for a restocking fee.
