So my phone died and it showed it needed to be charged so I put it on the charger and it showed it was charging then I came to see if it was turned on and it wouldn’t show the charging sign or anything. My home button is broken and I don’t know what’s wrong I don’t have the warranty. Any ideas on what’s wrong with it or how to fix it?
Any response when you plug the charger in anymore? It can be a few things, charging port needing to be cleaned, pins missing from the charging port stopping it from charge or the tristar chip needing replacement. You can sometimes quickly test tristar chip fault if you unplug the battery then plug the charger in, if you get no apple logo then the Tristar chip is most likely at fault.
