Hey guys, Back with an iPhone SE. Completely water logged, Had a short on VDD_MAIN. Removed that and now when the power button is pressed it takes around 100 mA and dies down. Doesn’t boot up, Seems like a dead CPU. But I maybe wrong so think anyone of y’all can help? Will be much appreciated…
It shows the signs of being brain dead but it might not be a faulty CPU causing it. It might be the CPU is waiting for instructions that it is not receiving. If its water damaged you need to check all clock and data resistors. You cannot just check them for continuity they need to be tested for resistance comparing to known good board or schematics.
