I bought an iPhone se from someone online because it didn’t turn on. I was guessing it might just be a bad battery or something. When I got it I found out it was bent. I plugged it in to the computer and it wasn’t recognized. Nothing shows up on the screen when you hold down the home and power while plugged in. I’m not sure how to test for a bad battery but I’m not sure if that’s the problem I’m thinking it might be something with the bend. Any ideas on what it could be?
Take it out of the housing. See if the board is bent. Hopefully it is not. Put it in a new housing and replace anything that is bent. If the logic is bent, EXTREMELY CAREFULLY, VERY SLOWLY, try to bend it back so it is even. Be EXTREMLY gentle with it. See if it fires up then. Also see if it works with no housing.
