Chosen Solution
I replaced my iphone 6s home button, it turns out that after replacing it, the phone wouldn’t turn on. I unassambled the device and reralized that the phone turned on as soon as I disconected the smaller flex cable (highlighted in the image), and shutted down as soon as I connected it back I’m not sure what this is, if anyone could help me out I’d be really thankful.
Sounds like a faulty home key that is shorting out. Or you could have damaged the home key flex on the screen which is the cable that you have highlighted.
