Realy strange, my screen works when my phone boots up etc. , but once it dims (by hitting the power button, or just waiting till it dims by itself) it won’t turn on again by pressing the power button or home button … I am forced to reboot my iPhone by long pressing the home and power button. Sometimes it even boots up by itself if I leave it like that. Could someone tell me what the problem is? I am the second owner of the iPhone so I have no warranty.
Hi Have you tried to restore to factory settings with iTunes? I hope you have backup. When the phone is off press and hold home button and connect to iTunes. Hold the home button until you see connect to iTunes icon, then release the home button and restore the phone. Let me know if this help.
