Chosen Solution
So my iPhone 8 sleep button doesn’t work to lock the phone but it works to take screenshots and power off the phone completely by holding it down. The problem is that it doesn’t work if I press it once to lock the phone. Any idea why? (Also assistivetouch or Autolock don’t work to lock the phone)
I haven’t heard of this being a common issues. But I would eliminate software considering it also doesn’t lock with assistive touch. Back it up and activate the device then try without your data on the device. Cheers
