After putting in a new battery in my 5s, I used it until it hit 1%. When it did, I got stuck in a boot loop, with some cases when it would boot into IOS but then go back into the loop. I put the phone in recovery mode so it wouldn’t continually loop and then I let it charge (because it’s a new battery) After some time, the iTunes logo was gone and the phone is in recovery mode and won’t get out. I tried update, restore, and even DFU restore, but they all get stuck on the part when iTunes and other tools say “waiting for iPhone.” At that point, it just boots back into the “black screen recovery mode.” Any ideas?
Why did you replace the battery in the first place? Have you tried the reset using a different cable/charging port? (maybe port was damaged during battery replacement?) Is there any pry damage around the battery connector? (component knocked off somewhere?) Have you tried a different battery? And lastly, do you get an itunes error? If so which error is it?
