Hello, I’m hoping for some advice on what could possibly be the problem with my iphone 6. I recently dropped my phone and had a cracked screen. The phone still functioned properly and after finding a repair shop with good reviews I took it there to have the screen repaired. They replaced the screen but after awhile it got stuck when I tried to take a screen shot. so I took it back to the shop and they replaced the screen again, I thought that it was working fine until I tried to use Siri and it didn’t work, I did some research and found out they probably had the microphone hole covered so I took it back to the shop again. I got a call from them telling me that they had to reset the phone and that it was stuck at the apple logo. I decided to take it to apple themselves and they suggested to buy a new phone which I did. I want to fix the old phone and wondering what could possibly be the problem. I’ve reset the phone, it gets stuck with the apple logo, however when connected to iTunes it shows up in the devices section but on the phone screen it’s just stuck at the logo. Please help me with a possible fix so I can try to get it running again.
Hello, you need to restore your iphone. If you failed to restore, then what was the error code?
Put the phone into DFU mode and try to restore it to a completely new version of iOS. This sounds more like a software problem than hardware.
