Hi, my iphone 5s wouldn’t turn on or charge. I Replaced the battery and it was good to go. 2 days later the same problem came back. Which i initially thought was a faulty battery and replaced it again. 2 days later it happened AGAIN. I unplugged and re plugged the battery and the iphone turned on. This is starting to be a routine for me and it’s getting really annoying. Is this a problem with the motherboard? Steps that i’ve tried so far :
- Replacing the battery
- Updating software
- Restoring iphone
I would try a dock replacement, if that does not fix it it most likely a board level issues with the U2 power chip.
