Hello i bought this iPhones 4s brojen to fix as he stated it was faulty and thought it was a screen problem as he could hear siri but i couldnt hear anything when came but: Once i bought it i tried the usual resets with the home and power button etc. Nothing happened I dissconnected the iphones screen and put an iphone 4 screen on as that’s all i got at the moment (i didnt’t screw in just connected cables to test screen) I connected to Itunes and it said “this iPhone is in recovery mode, please restore” I restored and had to update to ios8 to so i did it. It then turned on on the iphone and came up with apple logo and prgress bar. iTunes said “waiting for iPhone” and the prgoress bar did not move at all so i disconnected phone and left tillnext morning. Now it won’t connect or show up on my Mac, and 2 other computers. Is it because i stopped the restore as it was stuck now won’t tun on at all?!?

Yes, put the phone in DFU mode, connect to itunes and do a restore

Easy way of testing if it is the battery. Disconnect your iPhone battery and connect your charger. You should see the Apple Logo then it will go off an on
