I was having an issue with the phone not charging, the microphone not working, and the phone restarting. With recommendations from others, I switched out the charging port with a new one. Before installing it, I tested it and the phone worked fine. After installing it and putting everything in, the phone now won’t start with the charging port connected. I have to have the charging port cable disconnected in order for it to turn on. If I plug it in after it’s on, it will work, but it ends up shutting off after a little bit. I don’t see anything in the logs. I really need help on this, so if anyone has any advice or anything, I would really appreciate it.
Sounds like a bad charging port. Replace it with an OEM charging port pulled from an iCloud locked device. Should fix the issue!
