So this one’s weird, had this issue for a while now. My iPhone 5S after doing repairs on it, seems to have this problem where the battery will not charge. ( Lightning bolt and charging indicator is showing, but % will not increase when plugged in. ) However, if I bump the phone, it’ll start to charge again until go about my day (carrying it in my pocket) I’ve had this issue for a couple years now.. but it seems to have become worse..? I’m able to see whether the battery is charging with an iPhone tweak called ‘Battery Life’ telling me whether the battery is receiving mAh charge input or not. So yeah, bumping my phone is the temporary fix to make it charge.. what is the reason for that? Obviously it’s hardware related..

Hello, If you plug in the cable does the metal part completely go in? If not its possible theres alot of dust in it blocking the power. But when it indicates that its charging then it most likely is a motherboad issue. ( power ic lose or needing to be replaced) i would first try with a different battery and ligthing charger to be sure.

i think, the U2 USB charge IC or 1610A1 ic fault, need check the current by multimeter
