Hello, I’m about to buy an Iphone X after back glass repair by some random service, the issue is that the phone cant connect to wifi and loses it’s signal all the time, sounds like antenna is broken, so the repair will be pretty easy. Is there any risk that there’s an issue with the motherboard or something worse and it will be impossible to repair? It’s so cheap that I may be able to get my money back just from the parts. Overall condition is good, everything else works, even the wireless charging.
Try just cleaning the mount points on the case, the logic board and the bus bars. as well as the bus bars & screws. Use a fresh pink pencil eraser and clean the area with 85% isopropyl alcohol with an cotton swab. If that fails then you need a new case or logic board.
