Chosen Solution
I regularly clean my iphone X with cotton embedded in 96% ethyl alcohol, this time I used too much alcohol (the cotton was dripping) and the screen went black, but other than the screen the phone seems to be working (I can hear the beep when the phone is connected to the charger, etc) I tried a hard reset, factory reset with itunes but the screen keeps black. Any suggestion? thanks
Yep that’s a screen replacement. You could maybe try cleaning the connectors for the screen with some alcohol, not too much this time, and see if the screen will work again. If the clean didn’t work then it’ll likely just be a screen replacement as the phone functions fine without the screen. Follow the iFixit guide and don’t use too much of any liquid near electronics!!
