iPhone X error 4013 Hey, you So I dropped my iPhone X on the floor! Fortunately, neither the back nor the front glass cracked. But the phones have had another problem since then. Soon after landing, it was completely closed. When I tried to turn it back on, the iTunes icon appeared. When I tried to restore it, error 4013 came up. Of course I tried everything mentioned in the divers troubleshooting guides such as changing the USB port, changing the cable, etc. Of course I also tried doing the entire restore in DFU mode etc. So please does anyone know a real solution to this problem? thank you in advance
So… Bad news; The X-> have sandwiched logic boards, and are VERY prone to failures like this after a drop! This is because a separation of the PCB boards has occurred, and needs repairing. If you’re very lucky, it’s a components (unlikely) but it’s worth inspecting under high magnification just in case. If you have a board separation, then you will need to go to a shop that specialises in board level repair. The boards will have to be separated and inspected and put together again. This is not your average DIY job, it’s about as far from it as possible! You need specialist tools, a lot of skills, and patience. The equipment to successfully split and rejoin the boards isn’t something many shops have around. Even not those shops who do “some” board level repair.
