Hey, I have got an iPhone X which has PP_BATT_VCC shorted, removed C3351 and boom PP_BATT_VCC short has gone. Now the phone wont turn on but when i plug it in to a charger it turns on an goes to recovery, I have a feeling its the Tigris but i dont want to split the board without confirming, So any help would be appreciated
hello Myron, Desoldering of layers in sandwich motherboards is the first and basic action when you want to fix it (you must to learn it). Make sure you have all required tools and equipment. And finally, yes, you have right: c3351 can make a damage in charger structure when shorted. -regards,
