Hello. I have got a iPhone X where I replaced the screen and the battery. Everything was fine for 3-4 days, but suddenly, one week ago, the device’s camera. front camera, flashlight and FaceID stopped working. No flex cables are damaged. The device is booting into DFU after turning it off and on, and probably requires 2-3h to turn it on later. I really don’t know what to do. I did not even touch the cam flex cables. And why does the device boot into DFU?

hello Emre, probably, your phone has been flooded or had a major tumble before. Corrosion in particular or brakes into interposer could explain this behavior like that. If you are in the repair of electronics, you should desolder the sandwich and check the interposer. If you find corrosion inside, clean it and replace damaged parts. You should not perform a factory reset in this state, if you have already done it, do it again after the repair, it will rebuild the device table and component addresses. on the other hand, if you are a user and do not repair electronics, it may turn out that the repair will exceed the current value of the device - the X model is not as top as it used to be. Maybe consider selling the device as damaged and buying a new one, which I urge you to do. Consider buying a model 11 - you will be more than satisfied. -regards,

Sometimes disconnecting the front camera/face id helps. You can try that and if it boots then reconnect.
