IPhone X overheating with light usage. Camera module gets hot to touch and phone becomes laggy and slow. Face ID also not working. Should I get a battery replacement?
A battery replacement most likely won’t fix your issue. Whenever there’s excess heat, it’s a typical symptom of a short somewhere, especially if it gets hot to the touch. Was the device ever dropped in water?
