I replaced my iPhone X screen with the OLED screen from iFixIt. I am running into an issue with the screen popping up a little on the upper right side. I have to continually push it back down into place. It won’t stay put for more than a few minutes. I have tried replacing the adhesive around the screen 3 different times now because I thought I had just messed that up the first time, but it always starts popping back up again. It doesn’t pop up a large amount, just enough to be annoying and slightly inconvenient. Has anyone else encountered this? Could this be an issue with the tolerances of the replacement screen from ifixit the phone body being too loose? Perhaps the screen is just slightly too large??? Any thoughts or insights as to how to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.

when you install a new screen, there’s a lip in the frame you slide the screen under. Is it only that side it happens on or does it happen on the top left too?

If you have already checked for debris under the display(screws, extra bits of adhesive), then try re-seating the display. While re-seating the display, make sure you are installing it from top-to-bottom. The top of the display should be pushed into the top of the housing at a 45-degree angle to ensure a snug fit. Then, push the sides of the display into the housing, working your way towards the bottom. Every time I have come across this issue, it was because the display wasn’t fit snugly at the top of the housing.
