Hi guys would really appriceate any help on this. My iphone x will only display an image when i apply pressure to the display connector on the board. Tried with another screen and same thing. I fix phones for people locally. And the worst possible thing happens to my own phone ugh.
Hi, So here is my guess… Connecter Damage: One guess would be that the display connecter on the board is damaged in some way and this might have happened when you removed or replaced the display. In this case you would need to replace the logic board or, if you are skilled enough, replace the connecter on the board via micro soldering(very hard to do without damaging the board)Bracket: It could also be that you need to replace the bracket covering the connector as to apply pressure to the connector. This could also go for the screen.Connecting the Cable: This might seem kind of simple but it could just be that you aren’t connecting the cable right. I hope one of these would work for you.
