Hello! This is going to be a quite long text….

I have an iPhone X stuck on recovery mode…..When connecting the display ( which is functioning 100% ) there is no image/signal…….i suspect that it could also be in DFU mode but i am not sure since the buttons do not react when i try to exit recovery/dfu mode…..iTunes and computer detect the phone and it promts me to restore…when the restore begins with ““Extracting Software all good phone is still connected…when the restore progresses and goes “waiting for iPhone i hear the disconnecting sound of the device…but the device NEVER comes back on on its own….i wait for 10 secs. and unplug the cable and connect again…the display COMES ON for 10-15 secs then the spinning circle appears with the apple logo …..AS SOON AS the restore begins the phone shuts off and does not come on again….i have to wait about 2-3 minutes for it to come on again and then the same recovery loop… changed the battery it’s 100% charge so no the battery is not the issue….could it be a NAND issue or CPU ? Thank you everybody….would appreciate ANY help!!! Forgot to mention that the phone was dropped months ago…. but was STILL functioning normally and 3 months ago it did 2 restarts and then never came back on…..and it was powered off for 3 moths…..

3UTools will tell you whether the phone is in Recovery Mode or DFU mode. The design of this phone with the two soldered boards sandwiched together usually points to multiple pads that connect the two boards together being broken from phone being subjected to drops and bending of the phone. One or more of those pads being broken will cause problems like this and will require someone with micro-soldering experience to reconnect the broken pads with jumper wires.
