I was replacing the screen when i tested it befire putting it all back together, it worked perfectly. I put the bracket and everything back only to find the screen no longer works. Please help, any answer would be great!
Hi Shane, Did you disconnect the battery before you disconnected the display? If you did, it could be you fried (damaged) your backlight fuse on the motherboard. If you’re not entirely sure, you could check if your phone still works by standing in a dark room and pointing a flashlight at your screen when you assume it should be on. If it still works you can see an apple logo or your lockscreen (if you look really good). If you can still see something on your sreen (but only with the flashlight in a dark room), your backlight needs to be fixed. If this is the case, it could turn out as an expensive repair.
