Dear community I have a 3-year old iPhone X I have left the phone to charge overnight and this morning, when I woke up, I found the phone to be dead. The screen is black and does not respond to any commands. I have tried: quick press volume up + quick press volume down + long press side button –> no responselong press volume up + side button (at the same time) –> no responselong press volume down + side button (at the same time) –> no responselong press just the side button –> no responseconnect the phone to 2 separate laptops (Windows 10 and Windows 11) –> no responseremoved SIM card and tried again all the above –> no response I did not drop the phone. It did not suffer water damage. I simply left it charging like I usually did every night and in the morning it was dead. The only strange thing is that yesterday evening, for the incoming calls, the phone would not display the name stored in the agenda, rather it would just show the number. 2 weeks ago I did a SIM card swap for 1 week because i traveled abroad and on my home number roaming option was not feasible. The phone is my personal device and I’ve owned it since brand new. It was never repaired or otherwise tampered with. It did see its fair share of drops, but nothing really extreme and it was always protected by a bumper case. And anyway, no recent drop. It was never in contact with water. Thanks in advance for all ideas!

If it was my iphone x i make it open to disconect the battery connector for 1 minute and connect it again and see if the iphone will work now
