The phone does not recognize the battery, does not charge, and restarts. Tried a new charging port and a new battery. The phone recognizes when connecting the charging cable but the charging sign is not shown. Battery message of not genuine showing. The phone restarts every 5 min. Tried the little green board and pin #4 shows 0 rest of the pins show 0.370 ish. The computer does recognize the device. Hydra or Tigris ?
Hi timyb, Are there any panic logs posted on your phone? If so, they’ll help pinpoint the cause of the restarts. There’s an excellent write-up on them over on the Wiki pages. iPhone Kernel Panics - iFixit Instructions are include on how to locate the panic logs and a lot of information on how to interpret them. If you post the first page or so of any logs you find, we can take a look and see what we can do to help decode them.
