Hello I got a screen replacement for iPhone 5. After I connected the screen I got a white line across it. I read it is due to battery getting disconnected so I reconnected the battery. Got even more white lines. After reconnecting battery / screen several times I finally got the iPhone to boot without white lines. Except this time it was a boot loop. I tried restoring it via iTunes, but no luck. The iPhone will also not start without USB. iTunes gives error 2001. iPhone is not jailbroken.
I’m going to guess pry damage behind SIM tray on motherboard—but mostly because I fixed nine phones with that problem today :) If a component called U3 is damaged the home and power button will not work and phone will boot to recovery mode. Fix = replace U3
battery is not giving proper power in logic board so only change the battery and solve the problem
