Hey all. Currently upgrading an ipod 5.5 with battery and iflash. Plugged everything in to test first and screen is lighting up however staying black. is the motherboard dead? Anything I can do to fix this? any help greatly appreciated thank you
My first guess is that you may have damaged the display cable when you did said repairs. I suggest repalcing the screen assembly first. Make sure that you choose the correct screen for your model! You can get the screen in the parts section of the guide below. iPod Classic Display Replacement
