Hi, My ipod classic 80 GB stuck in the disk mode. It is being recognised by the computer but not by the ITunes. I am not sure what the actual problem is. Can anybody help me out?? I already tried the different ways to recover the same like formatting the disk but my pc not able to format it. Also tried the solution given on the Apple site. but not having any luck :(. Can anybody help me out??
Unfortunately it seems like you have a bad hard drive, the iPod classic hard drives are very finicky and will seem to be recognized even if they are totally unsalvageable. iPod hard drives can be purchased on the cheap through various online retailers, including ecoughBay and ifixit.
