Chosen Solution
While trying to repair a broken IPOD 6, I noticed that the clip that holds the display ribbon cable in place is broken. While I am reconciled to the idea of possibly replacing the motherboard, I am looking for options that may help me with a temporary or permanent fix without having to replace the motherboard. (Replacement boards are fairly pricey when available). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Please look into this thread in apple support page https://discussions.apple.com/thread/113… Try your luck if it doesn’t work only 1 option change the motherboard . Take a new ipod from Olx or Quikr replace them with your hard disk and battery
