Hi everyone, i bought this iPod 4th generation about 6 years ago, and haven’t used it for many years, I couldn’t remember the password so it got disabled as I’ve tried too many times. Ive tried to connect to my macbook air which has the newest updates of iTunes, and it wouldn’t work even if my iPod touch is in the recovery mode. the iTunes on my iPod is the old one with blue circle and the white music note in the middlejust bought the mac book air recently, so have never synced the iPod touch with the mac book air
Try a different charger cord, USB Port on your laptop and clean out your iPod’s charging port. You can find a guide on how to do that with a simple google search. It might also be your iTunes installation. Try reinstalling with the newest version. Hope I helped.
