My iPod touch is 1th generation, and my lil sis tried password too many times and it’s screen displayed for million seconds and it’s sleep/wake button is not functional, I used reiboot but it doesn’t recognize and detect iPod touch 1 G so to recover it, I also used recboot but it’s not working either. Please Help :(
If your power button isnt working, you could try a factory reset on it through iTunes, Or open it up and replace the button to do a hard reset.
