Hi, I dumped my iPod nano in water a long time ago and fixed it with some rubbing alcohol. The backlight however is damaged from the water, but it just looks like some water deposits that can be cleaned. Is there any way to disassemble the backlight to clean the film? Thanks.
Nicholas Skupien no you cannot separate it (at least not by conventional means). I’d either learn to live with it or replace the complete display assembly.
