Chosen Solution
So I replaced my screen on my iPod 6th get. Before I finish snapping g the screen back down to close the device. Looks like at the top somewhere, the device shuts off and won’t power back on. Powers on fine before I try to close it up, but when the LCD and digitized ribbon start to fold down, it powers off. Help
Is it definitely powering off or is the screen going blank? Try connecting it to your pc with the screen attached but not installed fully, then try and fit the screen, you’ll know if it’s powering off because your pc will make the usb disconnected noise. If it’s still on then the new LCD ribbons might be be damaged.
