I am working on repairing a 7th generation iPod touch, but I need a replacement lightning connector assembly. I have looked all over and can only find assemblies for 6th generation iPods. Do the 6th and 7th generation use the same lightning connector assembly?
Hi Iv worked on many iPod touches and as far as I know from what iv seen 5/6/7gen have the same parts so it’s probably the same across the generations Don’t quote me on that though there could be something microscopic different about them If you have any questions please ask Thanks :)
