Chosen Solution
I was using the iPod Touch (16GB, no camera) when it suddenly turned off and would not turn back on. Tried charging it for several hours and no change, it still won’t turn on. Could it be the battery needs replacing? Seems the logical place to start but wasn’t sure?
Try the easiest first….try cleaning out the dock connector with some canned air to see if there’s anything keeping a good connection from being made. If that doesn’t work, open it up and see if anything has come loose/broken etc.
Have you tried plugging it into the computer to see if it registers? If it gives you an error, maybe google the error to see the meaning. Just a thought
was there a solution? if so please list what it was. Thank You!
mine dosnt reg wen plug into laptop either
Long time since this was posted, but I had a similar problem. iPod would not turn on, nor take a charge. I was able to fix it by plugging it into a power source then pressing the home and power button and holding both for about 30 seconds. The Apple logo popped up and it would now take a charge and power on.
How do you restore iPod when it’s locked showing USB to iTunes and says can’t restore, no network
