I’ve already tried to reset by pressing home and power button, and connecting it to iTunes but nothing works and the iPod is not under warranty I bought it from a friend. Please help ASAP

Hi, try plugging it into your computer then press the home and on/off button together whiles iTunes is open, then your computer should make the connection sound it always makes when connecting a device, the iPod should then go into recovery mode and should work. Good luck!
