Wondering if the Xbox 360 s as an IR IN port? Can I plug an IR receiver into the USB port at the front? so I’m wanting to use my Xbox as a media player and place in my wardrobe out of sight which is behind were I hang my tele. I currently have a roku box sitting on top which hasn’t been working properly and trying to find a cheap solution instead of buying a new roku/fire stick. Any advice would be appreciated
I’m pretty certain that it’s possible to plug in an IR receiver via USB on the Xbox 360. There even is a receiver made by Xbox themselves. Look up “Xbox 360 big button IR receiver”.
I don’t know what you’ll be using it for and if that’s compatible, but to answer your question: Yes, you can.
