Chosen Solution
In the process of changing the speakers, the IR sensor connector broke off and all the wires are black instead of having any kind of color coding. I need help to identify the power and GND connections on the logic board so I can solder the wires instead or attach them with tape of something.
Did you damage the logic board or the sensor side? If you damaged the sensor cable side I would just replace it as its quite easy to do Infrared Board w/cable - Apple P/N 923-0251 If on the other hand you damaged the logic board connector
Then you’ll need to replace the connector. How about pasting a clear set of pictures of the logic board area and the connector part so we can see whats damaged Adding images to an existing question
