I bought a iPad mini 3 LCD thinking it was for the 4. I just found out that it wasn’t for the ipad mini 4 and now i don’t know what to do, I spent a lot on this LCD but it would cost more to send it back to china than keep it. so I need to know if a LCD for a ipad mini 3 is compatible with the iPad mini 4.
There’s quite a lot of difference between the two. The screen is taller on the iPad mini 4 and the LCD and glass is laminated together.
Sorry its not your going to have to buy another LCD.
As others have said, the two parts are different. In this case, you will have to look for another screen. As for screen you don’t need. You might have some luck putting it up for sale online. I would imagine you could get some of your money back as someone is likely looking for screen.
