I ordered an li-ion A41N1501 battery replacement for my laptop which doesn’t hold a charge. I made sure to be careful with it, but I noticed a tear in the outer black covering of the battery shown here. Is this a safety issue and should I get a replacement?
obamium_miner that actually does not look to bad. It’s not a pouch damage etc. I would cover it up with some tape and just keep monitoring it. For now, you’ll be okay.
