Or can they at least be trusted with their parts. Trying to buy a new battery for a MacBook Pro, and want to know if it’s worth it. Has anyone shopped here? Editors Note: Vijay the links where removed as they don’t offer anything useful by the Moderators.

Apple does no certify parts. Parts suppliers are responsible for what they sell. The real question you should be asking does iFixit stand behind what it sells. They offer a written warranty and when a part has been found to be bad replaced it. Not all suppliers offer that. The other question you may have, is the battery iFixit sells as good as the original one you have in your system. Personally the system I’m banging on now has a iFixit replacement battery and I haven’t found it any different that what I had before. Just so you know I’m a retired engineer, which volunteers my efforts here unpaid!
