Okay I’m at a total loss, I’ve spent hours on the phone with Comcast and Sony and more hours researching online and I can’t find anything. I play fortnite pretty regularly on my original PS4. I got in back when it came out at the end of 2013 so it’s almost 7 years old. Well anytime I am playing the game, after about 5 min the game just freezes, I can look around and change my weapons but I can’t move or anything. After about 3 min of that it kicks me out and says “loss network connection”. So my question is what do I do? I have it hardwired into a WiFi extender and it’s getting 200mbps, so I’m confused how I can be having that fast of connection speeds and then just lose connection. Comcast said my connection around the house is totally fine and everything is working, Sony told me it’s just old and needs replaced (probably wants my money when a new console comes out this year). Please anyone who has had this issue please help me out here, thank you.
Usually wifi extenders suck. I would test it elsewhere like at a friend’s house or wiring directly to the router.
