Is It Possible To Add English Subtitles To A Dvd Miscellaneous Electronics

I have a rare DVD without subtitle and I’d very much like to add subtitles. Is that possible? If do, how? Thank you Update (04/17/2019) PS: yes my TV is ALWAYS set to “subtitles ON”

Unfortunately not. DVD’s, especially non-writable ones, are encrypted and set as read only. So you won’t be able to write subtitles to the disk/disc. (However you want to spell it)
