I have done a lot of glass repairs on s4 but managed to cut the digitizer ribbon in the top left corner on 2 of them, is it possible to buy the digitizer film only? if so where as I can’t find anything on eBay. Thanks
Hi, i know what you mean! I refurbish broken lcd’s too and im having the same issue trying to find the digitizer film for a galaxy 3 lcd. Mine didnt even break it just bended a bit when separating the lcd from the mid frameplate. I managed to disconnect the digitizer and reshape the cable but the wires must have broken internally. Its a shame cus the lcd works perfectly. i have honestly tried my best searching with companies from shenzen china that sell laminating equipment and are into industrial repairs but apparently the digitizer film its OEM from samsung. I guess the only option would be to try and remove the film from a broken lcd but its impossible since it warps and bends when heat is applied. Gonna have to go with a new lcd

Same problem. Samsung guys really make me mad. They are just swindlers and cheaters. Because the digitizer alone may cost some 10 or 15 bucks.
why you need to buy the digitizer only? you have two option , first is you buy the whole assembly digitizer+front glass ….or you can buy the glass only . I would advice you to buy the assembly witch cost around 100-159$ available in the store of Ifixit
Hi guys did anyone have any luck getting the ribbons? i have just found a way to remove a working digitaliser from the Top Bezel as my bezel was really worn but in the process i cut the ribbon :-) Cheers
