Chosen Solution
I spilled coffee on the keyboard, took it to Geek Squad and they checked. Luckily, the inside parts are completely fine. The problem I am currently facing is that the space bar and two other bottom left keys are a little bit sticky because of the coffee that fell on them. Is there any way to clean them or do I have to replace the whole part?
Ouch! These keyboards are tricky! Best to live with it or find someone who has worked extensively on mac keyboard issues.
