My iphone Xr fell in the sea 5 days ago for no more than 5 seconds. It was first working just fine and my biggest error was to charge the phone. It later started bugging and i put it in rice for 4 days. After getting it out and charging it, the phone is stuck in a bootloop : the apple logo keeps coming and going non-stop. I checked the sim card tray for any sign of water damage but there is no red line. I don’t need to save any data as I’m aready saving my pictures on Google photo and I don’t expect it to work as fine as it used to, but I can’t afford getting a new phone. What should I do ? Is there any chance of getting my phone back?

Rice does not help to dry out the phone. If you have not yet done so, open the phone and disconnect the battery as fast as possible, then clean the motherboard with Isopropyl (Rubbing) Alcohol and a toothbrush or similar (70% alcohol works, but 99% is recommended).
