Hello everyone. I happened to brick my S.6 sometime back so i was wondering wether its possible to bring it back to lifeby changing the “whole motherboard” and was still asking mine is an S6 G920F …if i replaced it with another board of other variants would it still work ..Thanks in advance
Yes changing motherboard will fix, other models will probably work, but there are slight physical differences between models, for example, sm-g920v will not fit sm-g920a… connectors are same, however lcd mid frame different and motherboard sticks out too much. I am not sure about which other models are exactly similar to sm-g920f but better solutions is to flash stock rom using newest version of ODIN on your pc, samsung usb drivers, and a good samsung usb cable.
Well sometimes it depends In ur case the motherboard of different varient are physically different so the only problem is that ur phone motherboard may not fit in the given space or locations of camera , speakers and sensors may be different It may or may not affect. In my case i got a motherboard of LG Tribute LS660(boast mobile ) for my LG Tribute LS660(VIRGIN MOBILE) THIS CAUSE ME FOLLOWING PROBLEMS :—- 1.i can not call for recive text messages 2.
