My touchID has never worked (bought the machine used) and after apple store examined the device the power button does not work at all. I looked at the teardown guide and they don’t go over this part or anything, I had hoped to open the machine up and check if it was correctly plugged into the board. Is this process feasible? And What part should I replace this with if it does turn out to be damaged?
